There’s quite a treat in store for Curraheen Park racegoers on Saturday when last year’s Cashmans Laurels hero Sevenheads Bay reverts to two-bend racing as he opens his seasonal campaign with a challenge for the Kudos Supersprint.

Classic action returns to Curraheen Park this weekend with the start of the 2009 Cashmans Irish Laurels and many of the best in training will take their chance in the Southern classic.

MORE than double the number of required entries was received for the Boylesports.com Champion Stakes which is set to commence at Shelbourne Park on Saturday.

THE Kerry Agribusiness Irish St Leger, which is due to commence at Limerick on Saturday night, with the remaining first round heats on Monday, has attracted a top-class entry, including Nawhobberthadda, Royal Treason, Knowsley Jake, So Senor, Line Of Fire and So Determined.
