A POLL carried out in the Cork South West constituency shows Fianna Fáil support in the region has nose-dived from 42.5% at the last election to a current low of 19%.

HUNDREDS of people from all walks of life turned up to pay their last respects yesterday to a man who was the longest serving newspaper editor in the country.

FIANNA FÁIL has been accused of abandoning a large swathe of west Cork by failing to replace one of its county councillors who resigned last summer.
