The Donegal senior football squad has called into question the involvement of County Board officials in trying to appoint a successor to Brian McIver as manager of the side.

John Joe Doherty has been reinstalled as the favourite to take over from Brian McIver as manager of the Donegal senior football team, following a County Board meeting at Ballybofey last night.
