A convicted killer who tore a hole in two fences with his hands to escape from a US prison, abducted a woman and fled the state was captured yesterday evening.

An arrest warrant was issued for the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, a day after she failed to return to a court-ordered drug treatment programme in Michigan.
