You say “the question people around the world are asking is... ‘is the Pope a socialist’?”

I REFER to the front page article entitled “Shame of mentally ill people forgotten by State” (Irish Examiner, March 29).

IN AN article headlined ‘Organic matters’ (Irish Examiner, Feelgood, November 3), Roz Crowley asked: “How do we know if organic produce is worth the money?” She says, for her, taste is key.

I AM a 52-year-old scientist (Natural Sciences, TCD, 1974). I have been unable to get suitable employment in Ireland with the exception of a stint in AFT Carlow in 1976.
