The structure which will replace New York’s twin towers could stand more than 2,000ft high, dwarfing the world’s tallest buildings, it was reported today.

TWO designs that would put the tallest buildings in the world at the site of the World Trade Centre have been selected as the finalists in the plan to redevelop Ground Zero.
