TWO car bombs exploded in the insurgent stronghold of Ramadi yesterday, killing four Iraqis and prompting clashes between US troops and gunmen.

Three decapitated bodies have been discovered over the past two days in and around the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, a hospital coroner said today.
