UNCERTAINTY surrounds the fate of Greencore as property developer Liam Carroll keeps his cards close to his chest about his future intentions for the group.

THE €1.25 billion takeover cash offer for Jurys Doyle Hotel Group was sent to shareholders yesterday which values the shares at €18.90 each.

PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS (PwC) have quit as auditors to Mountbrook Homes, the building company owned by Jurys Doyle shareholder Sean Dunne, it emerged yesterday.

THE Doyle family is expected to vote for the sale of the 4.8 acres Ballsbridge site to property developer Sean Dunne for €260 million at the Extraordinary General Meeting on 27 September.

FURTHER share purchases in Jurys Doyle took place yesterday but, at this stage, the Doyle family and developer Sean Dunne have a controlling interest in the group between them.
