TALL SHIPS revellers will have to be out of their bunks early tomorrow to see the 86 magnificent vessels depart Waterford.

WHILE others have been burning the midnight oil throughout the Tall Ships event, one man in particular won’t rest easy until the last of 86 vessel has disappeared from the horizon late on Saturday evening, sometime around 2pm.

FIVE Tall Ships have already arrived into Waterford but the bulk of the 87 ships expected to take part in the four-day event are not expected until late tonight or Wednesday morning.
