A man in his 20’s will be sentenced next week for repeatedly raping his girlfriend while she slept.

A murder suspect, who was refused compassionate bail to attend his grandfather’s funeral this weekend, was unable to tell the High Court todday what his dead relative’s address was.

A Lithuanian is alleged to have broken into a house in his home country in 2001 and to have stabbed a woman in the hand, the High Court heard today.
