THE driver of an articulated truck had no chance of avoiding a car in which two men died following a head-on impact near a notorious junction on the Limerick-Nenagh N7 roadway, an inquest heard.

THE funeral took place in Limerick yesterday of one of the two men killed in last Friday’s crash near Daly’s Cross on the N7.

IN THE immediate wake of an advertising campaign being launched to urge drivers to be more careful, six more lives were lost in traffic accidents.
