Martial arts actor Jackie Chan is in negotiations to star as Mr Miyagi in a remake of 'The Karate Kid'.

Will Smith's actor son Jaden is set to revive the 'Karate Kid' franchise, two months after the 'Men In Black' star's publicists denied reports.

ACTOR Pat Morita, whose portrayal of the wise and dry-witted Mr Miyagi in The Karate Kid earned him an Oscar nomination, has died aged 73.
