THE €30 million AIB Seed Capital Fund is to be located at NovaUCD, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre at University College Dublin. AIB was one of the founding sponsors that funded the construction of NovaUCD, which formally opened in 2003.

Two IT companies, Kodana and Visor, have located to NovaUCD, UCD's €10m innovation and technology transfer centre.

University College Dublin-based research company Neosera Systems has signed a commercial deal with groups from the Technical University of Graz in Austria.
