AFTER a relentless campaign, respite services have been restored to families who have members with intellectual disabilities cared for by the Brothers of Charity in Bawnmore.

AT age 50 you are now deemed to be “elderly” ... at least if you live in Limerick.

SIXTY families with relatives who have intellectual disabilities and who avail of respite services in Limerick will now have to fund a reduced service, it has emerged.

LIMERICK will feature on New Zealand prime time television next month as part of the build-up to the November 18 Munster v All Blacks game in Thomond Park.
