The Taoiseach said he believes the Government has achieved the best deal for the country after agreeing to sell the State's share in Aer Lingus.

THE on-going dispute between the Turf Club and its employees, the Turf Cub Officials Association (TCOA) and their trade union, Mandate, warmed up yesterday when the Turf Club issued a statement.

TURF CLUB officials, currently in dispute with the Turf Club, are threatening to strike on Sunday February 28, an afternoon when racing is scheduled for both Leopardstown and Clonmel.
