IN A Wexford village silenced by the death of a family, it was the innocent classmates of murdered Mark and Julie Flood who tried to articulate the enormity of emotions involved.

THIS morning Dermot Flood will not make his usual school run to nearby St Aidan’s where he was a pupil himself three decades ago.

Two young children died in a fire, apparently started by their father after he murdered their mother, it emerged tonight.
