George Moore, ranked alongside Scobie Breasley as the greatest ever Australian jockey, has died in Sydney at the age of 84.

Nannina, general 6-1 second favourite for the Stan James 1000 Guineas on May 7, could go straight to Newmarket, according to trainer John Gosden.
