Hundreds of people attended the funeral of two Canadian brothers who were killed by a python while they slept at a friend’s home above an exotic pet store.

The manager of a Canadian zoo has said officials are preparing to remove more than a dozen animals from an exotic pet store beneath the apartment where two boys were asphyxiated by a python while they slept.

The mother of two small boys strangled by a 100lb python in their sleep in Canada had posted photos on Facebook last year of them playing in and cleaning her neighbour’s snake enclosure.
