The lone terror suspect in the Mumbai attacks has failed in his bid to be treated as a minor after tests confirmed he is more than 20 years old.

The trial of the only surviving gunman from the Mumbai massacre began today with the prosecutor calling the attacks “a criminal conspiracy hatched in Pakistan to attack India”.

SOMETIMES breaking into laughter, the man accused of being the lone surviving gunman in last year’s Mumbai attacks told an Indian court yesterday that he was from Pakistan and wanted legal assistance, officials said.
