fghA UN war crimes tribunal in the Netherlands has acquitted the former prime minister of Kosovo and two of his former Kosovo Liberation Army comrades for the second time on charges of murdering and torturing Serbs and their supporters in Kosovo’s war for independence.

THE UN’s Yugoslavia war crimes tribunal has sentenced former Serbia army chief Momcilo Perisic to 27 years in jail for murder, persecution and attacks on civilians in Bosnia and Croatia in the 1990s.

The former chief of the Yugoslav army has been jailed for 27 years for aiding Bosnian Serb forces responsible for the Srebrenica massacre and deadly four-year campaign of shelling and sniping in Sarajevo.

A wartime leader of Croatia’s rebel Serbs was today convicted of murder, torture and persecution by the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal in the Netherlands.
