Neil Hamilton has claimed he and his wife are ‘‘wholly vindicated’’ after reports today that police plan to drop their investigation into allegations of sexual assault.

Neil Hamilton said today the woman he and his wife are alleged to have sexually assaulted is playing a ‘‘high risk game.’’

The 27-year-old woman who accused former British MP Neil Hamilton and his wife of sexual assault has waived her right to anonymity to insist that the allegations are true.
