Mobile game developer Rovio Entertainment has said it plans to cut some 16% of its workforce amid signs that its Angry Birds game is losing some of its lustre.

The Finnish company behind the hit mobile game Angry Birds is considering moving its headquarters to Ireland, it has been reported.

Angry Birds maker Rovio Entertainment said sales jumped tenfold to $100m (€76.2m) last year as gamers flocked to download its titles, adding business was now strong enough for a stock market listing.
