A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to 12-years for robbery for breaking into a 46-year old woman's flat in Cork city centre before she was murdererd.

A 20-year-old Cork man has been acquitted of the murder of a 46-year-old woman during a break in at her flat in Cork city centre.

A call made to a Cork Garda station shortly after a woman was murdered threatened a Garda the caller would "do it again" if the gardaí didn't go to where they said the murdered woman could be found, a murder trial jury at the Central Criminal court heard today.
