My blood boiled when watching the 9 o’clock news as the partner of Paul Murphy said she felt frightened and intimidated when six gardai called to their home. 

ONE has to admire Mick Murphy, a Green party local election candidate in Cork, for being so public in his conviction by crushing his U2 collection with his jeep to demonstrate his disapproval of the way the band has moved its wealth out of this country (Irish Examiner, February 28).
