Clare’s Pádraig Egan (Subaru) won the head-to-head in the four-wheel drive category of the Herospec Rallysprint in Mondello Park yesterday, while Wexford’s Jason O’Keeffe (Peugeot 205) netted the two-wheel drive class and Cavan’s Russell Woods claimed victory in the Buggy class.

Kilkenny’s Enda O’Brien (Escort) withstood a late challenge from Cashel’s Paul O’Connell (Mitsubishi EvoIX) to win the Carlow Car Club Rallysprint at Mondello Park yesterday. 

FROM a season where little went wrong, culminating with victory in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge for Kris Meeke/Paul Nagle, the current defence of their crown is proving almost the total opposite.
