ANNETTE Clarke ended an historic season for the Galway ladies' footballers by picking up the Vodafone Player of the Year award in Dublin yesterday.

Cork meet Galway in the first Foras na Gaeilge All-Ireland senior camogie semi-final at Nowlan Park today, in a curtain-raiser to the second decider between Tipp and Wexford.
