Payments company Stripe, from Limerick-born brothers Patrick and John Collison, has been announced as the international payments partner for RTÉ's global Gaelic games streaming service GAAGo.

GAA commercial director Peter McKenna believes the Association’s new online streaming service via RTÉ is a more significant broadcasting venture than their controversial deal with Sky TV.

RTÉ plans to expand coverage of national and international sport events on the station’s website.
