THERE are few fixtures more compelling for sheer atmosphere than the Leinster Schools Senior Cup final sponsored by Powerade, which this year moves to a new home at the RDS.

AMY FOSTER, silver medallist at the European Youth Olympics a few weeks ago, revelled in the sunshine at Tullamore on Saturday when she won a gold medal in the 100m, took silver in the 200m before anchoring the Irish schools to silver in the 4x100m relay at the international track and field match between Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.

AMY FOSTER (Glenlola Collegiate School), silver medallist in the 100m at the European Youth Olympics last week, will be back in action at Tullamore on Saturday and hoping for a double in the Schools International between Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
