TRALEE was the first big outing for most livestock exhibitors, because earlier agricultural shows in Leap, Co Cork, and Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co Clare, were called off due to wet weather.

THE winner of the AIB Bank Holstein Friesian championship at Limerick Show was a four-year-old second calver exhibited by Sean, Eileen and John Curtin, Athlacca, Co Limerick, who also took the reserve’s rosette.
