Camogie: Galway’s campaign to defend their Liberty Insurance senior camogie title met with an early setback after old rivals Wexford inflicted a 2-12 to 1-11 defeat at Kenny Park on Saturday.

Kilkenny laid down a strong marker for the Liberty Insurance senior camogie championship, recording a 1-10 to 1-8 away win over Galway in the opening round.
