A 27-YEAR-OLD woman who suffers from cerebral palsy allegedly because of negligence at the time of her birth secured €3 million in a settlement approved by Mr Justice John Quirke in the High Court.

FAMILY and friends of the 12 people jailed for their part in the anti-bin charge campaign are expected to swell the ranks of the protesters taking part in today’s Dublin city centre demonstration.

A new born baby girl joined her mother, Lisa Carroll, at Mountjoy prison last night.

BIN charge protestor Mr Declan Mahon, who will be jailed today, said he was sick to the stomach at the thought of walking through the gates of Mountjoy.
