THE 50th anniversary of the Rose of Tralee International Festival is expected to be the biggest and best to date with more beautiful contestants than ever before.

THE crowning of this year’s Rose of Tralee attracted 130,000 fewer viewers than last year, according to figures released by RTÉ.
