Virginia Tech gunman Cho Seung-hui was diagnosed with autism after the family emigrated to the US, a relative in South Korea said.

China and South Korea today agreed to work together to help defuse tensions created by North Korea’s nuclear programme, a senior official in Seoul said.

THE US and South Korea, stung by North Korea’s admission that it has a secret nuclear weapons programme, are calling on Pyongyang to reverse course and abide by promises to renounce development of these armaments.
