A YOUNG homeless man claims he is being forced to live in his car after a youth shelter where he once lived branded him an “unmanageable risk”.

IRISH web-hosting company IE Internet has said that the rate of spam or junk emails being sent/received rose sharply last month, but that the rate of computer virus attacks have declined.

THE rate of spam, or junk emails, targeting Irish email users climbed to 63.28% in January, according to email security company, IE Internet. However, the instances of email-based computer viruses remain quite low.

RECORD amounts of spam are finding their way into Irish email accounts — it leapt by over 50% last year and is set to get worse in 2007.

EMAIL viruses reached record levels in December according to statistics from hosting company IE Internet.
