At least 13 people have been killed and scores more injured in two powerful explosions in Russia’s restive North Caucasus.

A radio-controlled bomb tore into a truck carrying Russian soldiers in the capital of the restive Dagestan region today, killing at least 11 troops and wounding over 20 other people, including civilians, officials said.

Russia’s interior minister has said that international terrorists are seeking to destabilise and weaken Russia with the tacit backing of Western countries.
