A new study being published today reveals that at least 76 women have been illegally trafficked into Ireland over the past six years to work in the sex industry.

Some 216 women trafficked in to Ireland for prostitution over the last seven years have been tracked down, it emerged today.

Prostitutes should have criminal convictions deleted after a few years to allow them get proper jobs, it was claimed today.
