DAIRY leaders must adopt new technologies to remain competitive, according to Dr Pearse Lyons, the Irish-born president of US animal health corporation Alltech.

THE EU has authorised the renewed use of organic selenium in animal diets, following a 2005 European Commission decision to re-classify the product.
