A hearing into jockey Josh Byrne’s appeal against a seven-day ban picked up at Leicester earlier this month has been delayed for further investigation into betting matters.

Jockey Josh Byrne was in hot water at Leicester yesterday when he collected a seven-day ban for his riding of Shady Grey.

THE first five horses home were disqualified for taking the wrong course in an amateur riders’ race at Towcester yesterday and the £2,555 prize was awarded to the sixth horse to finish.
