AMY FOSTER (Glenlola Collegiate School), silver medallist in the 100m at the European Youth Olympics last week, will be back in action at Tullamore on Saturday and hoping for a double in the Schools International between Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.

BRENDAN O’NEILL (St. Michael’s, Dublin), Mairead Murphy (Mercy, Waterford) and Laura Reynolds (Marian, Mohill) all set new records at the KitKat Tailteann Irish Schools interpros at Tullamore on Saturday when a number of athletes bound for the European Youth Olympic Festival got the perfect send-off.

THE Irish women’s athletics team have retained their first division status in the European Cup.
