The Government has been accused of failing to provide the healthcare package it promised to Magdalene Laundry survivors in 2013.

The Justice For Magdalenes Research (JFMR) group has written to the Ombudsman expressing its long-held concerns over the Magdalene redress scheme.

Survivors of Magdalene Laundries are to be paid up to €100,000 as part of a Government redress scheme worth €58m.
