The toddler son of singer Adele has accepted a five-figure sum in damages in settlement of a privacy case brought by his parents over paparazzi photos of his “milestone moments”.

The natural father of Baby P has been awarded £75,000 (€90,000) against the publishers of The People after being wrongly described as a sex offender convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl.

Former Culture Club singer Boy George today lost his High Court battle with the probation service, which had banned him from the Celebrity Big Brother house. Mr Justice Bean will give his reasons later this morning.
