The Alfred Beit Foundation is back in the black after recording a profit of €5.4m in 2015 on the back of two sales of its six ‘Old Masters’ paintings.

Works of art by Peter Paul Rubens, David Teniers the Younger, and Francesco Guardi are among a small group of carefully selected Old Masters from Russborough House that will be sold at Christie’s in London in July.

A TALENTED young composer watched with pride last night as one of her national award-wining works received its Irish premiere in Dublin.

Several special events are planned at the National Concert Hall this year as it celebrates its 25th birthday.

THE National Concert Hall (NCH) plans to develop three performance halls on its current site at an estimated cost of €140 million, to be completed by 2010 or 2012.
