Champions of 2015 and 2016, Glen Rovers moved a step closer to regaining the Cork senior hurling championship title following their single point win over Newtownshandrum at Páirc Uí Rinn tonight.

Sarsfields moved to within two points of RedFM HL Division 1 leaders Bride Rovers – with two games in hand – after a comprehensive victory at home to Douglas on Saturday night.

Newtownshandrum, Ballyhea and Midleton have joined Na Piarsaigh in a four-way tie atop the Red FM Division 1 Hurling League.
