POLITICIANS accused of planning corruption by political lobbyist Frank Dunlop are finally set to make their first appearance at the Flood Tribunal this week.

The Flood Tribunal will today complete the opening statement of its latest phase investigating rezoning decisions made by Dublin councillors.

Four Dublin councillors under investigation by the Flood Tribunal have denied they accepted money in return for voting in favour of rezoning motions.

FRANK Dunlop has told the Flood Tribunal he paid a total of £30,000 to nine past and present councillors in Dublin in return for their votes on controversial rezoning motions relating to lands in south Dublin during the 1990s.

EVIDENCE heard at the Flood Tribunal yesterday suggests that former Fine Gael TD Liam Cosgrave may have received up to £19,000 in seven separate payments from Frank Dunlop.
