The liquidators of two foreign investment firms which were found to be insolvent after jailed fraudster Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme was discovered are suing accountants in Ireland who audited their books for two years.

Musical history will be made tomorrow when the largest music project of Limerick City of Culture is finally unveiled.

The decision by City of Culture chief Patricia Ryan to resign from the project has been welcomed by many in the artistic and cultural community in Limerick.
