Detectives investigating the Washington sniper attacks have found further clues. They say that the car, in which two male suspects and the weapon were found, has an opening in the boot that would permit someone to lie inside and fire the rifle while remaining hidden.

The gun found in the back of the car of the two Washington sniper suspects has provided a ballistics match to the sniper's weapon.
