The families of the three brothers who died at sea off the Co Waterford coast were yesterday preparing to lay them to rest, as local fishermen said fish-catch regulations had meant the Bolgers had been forced out to sea with lobster pots instead of fishing salmon on the Suir estuary.

The people of Passage East have always gone to sea, but yesterday all they could do was think about the boat that failed to come home.
