Bosses from Jaguar will be quizzed by British MPs today over the controversial decision to end production of the luxury car in Coventry.

Luxury car maker Jaguar is poised to make losses for two years despite ending car production in Coventry, it emerged today.

Union leaders are planning to hold an emergency meeting with the Jaguar workforce in Coventry this week to discuss closure of the assembly line.

Production of Jaguar cars is to end at one of its main UK factories, with the loss of more than 1,100 jobs, the company announced today.

Jaguar will pull out of Formula One at the end of the year.
