I WISH to respond to the letter from Dr JE Hazlett-Lynch (Irish Examiner, November 20) concerning the DUP’s stance on the St Andrews Agreement.

DR JE Hazlett-Lynch is unduly pessimistic (Irish Examiner letters, November 20). There is no possibility of the leader of the DUP making the catastrophic progression from Dr No to Dr Yes to Dr Lundy.
