The all-black re-make of the classic Jackie Gleason TV series The Honeymooners, shot in Ireland, has bombed at the Stateside Box Office with a dismal opening week-end take of just $5m.

Animation pioneer William Hanna, who with partner Joseph Barbera created such beloved cartoon characters as Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear and Tom and Jerry, died yesterday.
